Caritas Czech Republic has organized the Business to Business event together with the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mongolian Sustainable Finance Association. The objective of the event is to provide information on sustainable financing, production, eco loans, waste and economic relations to construction material producing Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and companies. Furthermore, it aims to facilitate communication and promote collaboration among financial organization and SMEs and companies, by providing opportunity for open discussion and debate.
The information and presentations provided by the presenters were highly informative, not only for the participants but also for the "Improving Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production in Mongolian Construction sector through Materials Recovery" project team, covering many aspects and possibilities surrounding the eco loan and economic relations between the state and the private organization operating the waste management sector.
The discussion took place among the participants. The representatives of the SMEs have mentioned about the disadvantages of the working in the waste management sector, and requirement of the state support not only in the financial way but also in terms of human resources and technological development. Moreover, it was apparent that the project implemented by the state organizations (e.g Ministry of Environment and Tourism, Mongolia) are not well heard to the public, as the representatives of the SMEs and private companies were mentioning about it quite a lot. It was concluded that the offerings and projects from the state organizations should be promoted well among the representatives operating in the waste sector.
