In Mongolia, known for its natural beauty and cultural richness, an exciting opportunity unfolded under the "SWITCHING ON THE GREEN ECONOMY" project, funded by the SWITCH-Asia programme of the European Union. This initiative empowered individuals with a passion for environmental sustainability, circular economy, and green business practices.
We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of training courses for prospective trainers in circular economy, eco-labeling, environmental management, and green business. This endeavor represented an open invitation to those who dreamt of becoming catalysts for positive change, shaping a more sustainable and eco-conscious future.
The "SWITCHING ON THE GREEN ECONOMY" project, supported by the EU's SWITCH-Asia Programme. Its mission is to provide crucial support and technical assistance to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), retailers, and business associations in the food and water and beverage sector in key regions, including Ulaanbaatar, Erdenet City, and Selenge Province.This initiative was at the forefront of promoting a circular economy and eco-labeling system, transforming consumer attitudes and connecting with green finance, ultimately paving the way for a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future.
A significant milestone was recently reached as training courses for trainers in circular economy, eco-labeling, environmental management, and green business were successfully conducted. On the 30th of August, newly trained trainers received their well-deserved certificates, symbolizing their dedication and commitment to a more eco-friendly world.
