Caritas Czech Republic has been operating in Mongolia since 2006, and during this time, we have successfully implemented several important projects. Our activities have primarily focused on sustainable development and supporting youth and civil society.
In the area of sustainable development, we have mainly concentrated on promoting plastic waste management, which represents a significant challenge for Mongolia. We helped build sorting lines and contributed to establishing a modern legal framework for sustainable development.
A major success was also our project All for YOUth, YOUth for All. Young people not only in Mongolia hold tremendous potential but also face many challenges, such as finding employment, accessing quality education, and participating in social activities. Through this project, we organized mentoring, networking activities, and created volunteer programs.
In 2025, all existing projects will be concluded, and the Caritas Czech Republic office in Mongolia will be closed. Current information and other news about our work in other parts of the world you can find our website.
