A waste recycling entrepreneurs reconnected through our networking event

Within the framework of the “Sustainable plastic recycling in Mongolia", the project funded by the European Union’s SWITCH-ASIA programme, a networking event to connect plastic recycling entrepreneurs was successfully organised on March 17, 2023 at the Holiday Inn Hotel. 25 representatives participated in the event, which aims to provide information on sustainable production and financing to micro, small and medium producers of plastic waste recycling, to establish relationships with financial service providers and to expand their cooperation. At the event, Sh.Anarmaa, deputy head of the NGO Center for Research and Development of Climate Change and Sustainable Development, gave a presentation on "Calculating the amount of greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions of industrial projects and the impact of plastic waste recycling on climate change and the environment." And Director of Climate Change Research and Cooperation Center B.Erdenechimeg also gave a presentation on "Sustainable production and green financing".
