What we do

We help where we are needed. We provide immediate humanitarian aid to people affected by war or natural disaster. As part of our development cooperation, we help people to cut loose and make a living. We focus on the development of health care and social protection as well as  rural development and environmental protection and actively work on systemic changes in Mongolia.

One of the strongest commitments of our organization is ensuring that all participants of our programs – including children, vulnerable adults, and disabled people – are protected from abuse and exploitation. The environment in which we operate is extremely prone to abuse and exploitation as a consequence of power imbalance or violence. Such risks are heightened, in particular, during humanitarian crisis. At Caritas Czech Republic we have rigorous systems in place to make sure that everyone we work with is safe from any harm.

COVID-19 has been a part of our lives for almost a year. Would you like to know how life on Caritas Czech Republic's country offices has changed? For example Mongolia did not have any local transmission of the COVID-19 disease until November. However, the country has already put in restrictions in the beginning of last year. Provide special equipments for Special school for vision impaired children

Secondary school no.116 is the only school in the country for vision disabilities. For educating vision disabilities are required special materials which are expensive and less available. The school is financed from the state budget. However, at present there are is no finance for special materials. State budget finance covers mostly only heating, electricity, water, garbage, post payment, workers’ wages and some repairs.
