We help where we are needed. We provide immediate humanitarian aid to people affected by war or natural disaster. As part of our development cooperation, we help people to cut loose and make a living. We focus on the development of health care and social protection as well as  rural development and environmental protection and actively work on systemic changes in Mongolia.

Switching On the Green Economy

Due to the food and beverage sector’s heavy environmental impact, adopting resource-efficient practices from Farm to Fork Strategy, in line with the European Union’s Green Deal, is key to success in Mongolia’s quest to transition to a low-carbon circular economy and accelerate poverty reduction. Therefore, the “Switching On the Green Economy” project is being implemented.

B. Baldangombo from Mongolia is starting a shared workshop. It gives young people an opportunity to earn a living

Mongolia is a country of young people, they make up more than a third of the local population. Unfortunately, they often face unemployment. Caritas Czech Republic, therefore, helps young Mongolians with their personal development and advises them on how to plan and build a career. That is why we supported B. Baldangombo and five other entrepreneurs who give young Mongolians a chance to earn living.
